We have just heard that a couple saw UKWMO Ashwell on Unique Property Bulletin, and after emailing us for an introduction, drove up to meet the owners and view this former nuclear bunker. The owners advise that as a result of receiving an acceptable offer from the couple, UKWMO Ashwell is now SOLD. UKWMO was established and funded by the Home Office and utilised its own premises which were mainly staffed by the Royal Observer Corps (ROC) – a uniformed full-time volunteer service.
