Prime Priced Printworks & PP

The writer of this edition was fortunate enough to have a childhood brought up with printing machines. A particularly favourite Christmas present was an Adana Printing Machine.
The Adana machine was not that far on from one of humanities great leaps forward – the printed book. A forerunner of course being the Gutenberg Bible with some history of that printing press here…
Why is this at all relevant? Well with the advent of Kindle and eBooks, there is a paradigm shift of the same magnitude that Gutenberg had upon civilisation.
How does it affect you? For years we have wrestled with how to buy and live in some of the most unusual (and often remote) places in the land, whilst being able to earn a living The internet, Kindle, eBooks and websites enable that. We cannot emphasise how important this is. For example our old paper based Unique Property Bulletin churned out a niche thing which had a varying print run of between 1,000 and 3,500. The past 14 months since we put the Unique Property Bulletin online it has grown to over 24,000 readers, and adds around 2,000 new ones each month.
So whatever your choice of website and Kindle book, there is now a way that you can live in as remote a place as you choose, and telecommute, or run your own internet business, leaving plenty of time to enjoy a much increased quality of life.
All of the above may seem a million miles away from what is a fairly urban looking building. However, this former printworks has a lot of history and character within those wall. That’s All Folks – For This Edition
The removal guys are now wanting to unplug our Old Faithful steam driven computer from the web. We will be offline for a couple of days whilst the unpacking starts at the new abode for Unique Property Bulletin.
Once the new premises, the new broadband supplier, and the new web service provider are all in place, we are keen to get back to normal. Well if causing mischief and gently nudging fellow unique property folk to find really unusual places to live is normal, then we cannot wait to get back up to speed.
Fingers crossed our next scheduled edition for 7th April 2013 is run from a revitalised internet hub and computer.
